Self-Paced Elementary Spanish
Designed for children ages 6 through 10 (but beneficial for older and younger, too!), this program guides the student and their parent (or siblings) through fun, engaging activities to learn the basics of Spanish. The whole family can get involved in the fun!

What is this program like?

This program consists of 35 lessons with homework afterward.

In each lesson, you and your student(s) will watch one of my videos (each video is between 5 and 15 minutes in length) to learn Spanish and hear correct pronunciation.

During the video, I'll often guide you to pause the video and do an activity, song, or game together. Thus, while the video itself averages 5 to 15 minutes, the time you'll spend on that lesson will usually be between 10 and 30 minutes.

Once you've completed the lesson, you'll do the "homework" whenever you'd like throughout the week. This consists of suggested workbook pages, games, songs, etc. This can be done in one sitting or spread out over several days.
You and your child are welcome to send me messages (either written or video!) to ask any questions you have throughout the course. I'll respond with a written message or a video to answer your question!

The details
When?​

At your convenience! Once you purchase the program and buy the workbook, you and your child advance through the recorded videos and lessons at your pace.
How long is the course?
T​here are 35 lessons. If you do one lesson per week, you can get through the whole program (the workbook and all of the lessons) in a typical homeschool year. However, the beauty of this program is that you can go at your child's pace!

Some parents may choose to do two lessons per week and complete the course in one semester (half of a typical homeschool year).
You have access to the program (and to me!) for 18 months.
Where?
Online in your own home! You'll need to purchase the program and order the workbook. Then, all of the work is done in your home at your pace. I will add you to the online class portal where you'll find all the lessons.

Tuition?

$95 gives you access to the entire program (and me) for 18 months. Please note: You'll also need to purchase the workbook at your preferred online retailer (typically costs around $15).

Elementary Spanish FAQs
How old does a student need to be to use this program?
The videos, book, and activities are geared toward children ages 6 through 10, but kids a bit younger or older would also benefit and be able to use and enjoy the content.

While the workbook we use is geared toward children in 1st - 3rd grades, I've created the program to be appropriate for ages 6 through 10.

Can more than one of my children use the program?
Yes. Your whole family has access for 18 months. You would simply need a separate workbook for each child.

Do parents need to know any Spanish?
Nope! The lessons are designed so that you can have fun and learn WITH your child. You as a parent don't need to know any Spanish.

Are parents required to purchase extra materials for the class?
You'll need to purchase the workbook (typically costs around $15). And, you'll need to print the activities I created (you'll print approximately 50 pages for the entire program).

My video lessons and the video, song, and activity suggestions are provided to you via the platform (and downloadable PDFs to print) when you purchase the program. ​

Will a grade be issued and do students take tests?
No. This is a fun, interactive taste of the language for kids where they can learn some of the basics.​

Can we ask you questions as we go through the program?
Yes! Feel free to shoot me a message in the platform if you ever have a question about any of the Spanish concepts or pronunciation. You and your child can even ask your question via a video message if you want!​​​​​

If I need to cancel my registration, what's your cancellation policy?
​If you cancel within the first two weeks of your access to the self-paced class, you will receive a 50% refund OR you can choose to receive 100% refund in the form of credit that can be used for any of my other classes (this credit does not expire).
